BOARD OF TRUSTEES ELECTION ALERT!
There are only two weeks before nominations close for the forthcoming elections for the Foundation Board of Trustees for our school. This is an important milestone in the establishment of our school. It is an exciting opportunity for you as parents/caregivers to become involved in the governance of the school and the education of your children. Please consider putting yourselves forward for nomination. Everyone has something to offer and the work of the Board is a real team effort.
Nominations are invited for the election of five (5) parent representatives to the Board of Trustees.
A nomination form and a notice calling for nominations has been posted to all school families. If you have not received your forms through the post, please contact the school office to get one.
You can nominate another person to stand as a candidate, or you can nominate yourself. Additional nomination forms can be obtained from the school office.
Nominations close at noon on 26 May 2017 and may be accompanied by signed candidates’ statements. These statements of 400 words or less, should introduce yourselves to the community and contain a brief description of your skills and interests and what you think you could offer as a Board member.
The voting roll is open for inspection at the school and can be viewed during normal school hours.
There will also be a list of candidates’ names, as they come to hand, for inspection at the school.
Voting closes at noon on 9 June 2017.
