The Emblem

The Emblem is the Triquetra  – the symbol for the Trinity, which comes from the Latin noun “trinitas” meaning “three in one”. This symbolises the three persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit representing one God.

The three equal arcs of the Triquetra stand for equality, the Father is, Son is, Holy Spirit is – functioning together as one. The lines move in a continuous arc representing eternity. The unique interweaving of the Triquetra symbolises unity and indivisibility.

The Triquetra is a symbol of God whom we ought to Love, Learn about and Serve. The loving, learning and serving belong to God.

We derive our school vision statement from this symbolism of the Trinity.

“To Learn, Love and Serve in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
